5 Things I’ve Noticed About Guys.

24 Feb

1. Their Ego: Most guys have ego’s, like their trying to prove that they’re thee best or something.
2. They have so many different faces: With friends they’re this loud and full of themselves (sometimes funny, but still…), with girls they are sweet and flirty.
3. They don’t like talking about their problems with people.
4. They can’t keep their mouths shut. If you’re in a relationship what he knows, his friends know.
5. They are just as flirty as girls, maybe even more.

How To Look Pretty (Without Makeup)

24 Feb

I’ve read many articles on how to look pretty au naturel but they always tell you to put on makeup even though the point was looking good without any. I don’t use makeup and this tips will help you look great without any.
1. Hygiene!
1.1 Shower daily and use deodorant: Part of looking good is smelling good, no matter how pretty you were, no one would really notice it if you smelled bad. Also, put on some perfume but only a small amount.
1.2 Exfoliate your skin weekly and wash your face twice a day: Exfoliating your skin will get rid of the dead skin on your face, making it look healthier and washing your face will help keep acne away.
1.3 Sunscreen: The suns UV-rays are part of the reason we get acne. Applying some everyday, even on cloudy or rainy days, will not only protect your skin from blemishes now but leave you with beautiful skin even during your 60’s.
1.4 Brush your teeth, if possible after every meal for a wonderful smile.
2. Drink lots of water: Water makes your skin glow and it’s also good for your hair.
3. Exercise: Exercise and eat healthy, this doesn’t only go for overweight people.
4. Keep your skin moisturized: This also goes for your lips. For smooth lips, apply lip balm whenever your lips get dry and avoid licking them, not only does it dry your lips but it’s annoying to other people if you keep licking them.
5. Shape your eyebrows: This is not compulsory unless you have bushy eyebrows or a noticeable unibrow.
6. Get rid of armpit hair: Armpit hair just doesn’t look good and it retains sweet, which can make you smell.
7. Be a happy person with a nice personality: Have you ever watched a movie and thought one of the characters was pretty until you found out they had a bad personality? You didn’t think they were pretty anymore, right?
8. Dress appropriate: Yes, you should follow trends but have a bit of your own style. Don’t wear things that are revealing, see through, tight or uncomfortable. Try to mix your wardrobe, too; have a few skirts, a few jeans, a few shorts instead of only having jeans.
9. Have a hairstyle that suite your personality and your face shape: Also make sure that your hair is healthy and clean. If you want you can also go for highlights. A good tip would be to highlight you’re hair a color that brings out your eyes. Make sure if you’re going to dye you’re hair it suite your skin tone: Orange hair on tanned skin won’t do you any good.

Cursed Beauty Product Companies

22 Feb

Today I realized something: Our definition of beauty is influenced by Beuty Product Companies.
Have you ever realized how white people want to get tans to become browner and how black people go for skin lightning procedures to become lighter? How white people perm their hair to have curls and black people relax their hair to get rid of their curls? How we are the cows who think the grass on the other side is greener??
It’s Beauty Product Companies, trying to make profit by luring unaware people into thinking that what they are NOT is ideal beauty. Hopefully after reading this post, you won’t be one of those unaware people.

Beauty Is In The Eyes Of The Beholder

22 Feb

We’ve heard the saying so many times but we never really take time to think about it. I’ll make an example. Let’s say that Ben told Ann she had an ugly nose. Now Ann had already heard the Beauty-is-in-the-eyes-of-the-beholder-saying so many times. She won’t remember the quote after Ben has said her nose is ugly. Instead, she’ll become insecure about her nose and start typing things on Google like: How to make your nose look smaller or decide for Rhinoplasty. Just because of one small comment.
It probably won’t occur to Ann that Ben just had his personal preference and that Chad thought her nose was beautiful…
This is the way it is with all of us, probably not so extreme though, a few comments is all it takes to make us insecure about a certain feature of ours. Just remember, before you start stressing yourself: There are 6 billion people in this planet, do you think it’s possible for all of them to think that a certain feature on you is ugly?

Note: Incase you’re wondering, yes, I did the Ann, Ben, Chad thing on purpose 😀

Must have been embarassing, lol

21 Jan

A lady picked up several items at a discount store. When she finally got up to the checker, she learned that one of her items had no price tag. Imagine her embarrassment when the checker got on the intercom and boomed out for the entire store to hear, ‘PRICE CHECK ON LANE THIRTEEN, TAMPAX, SUPER SIZE.” That was bad enough, but somebody at the rear of the store apparently misunderstood the word ‘Tampax’ for ‘THUMBTACKS.’ In a business-like tone, a voice boomed back over the intercom: ‘DO YOU WANT THE KIND YOU PUSH IN WITH YOUR THUMB OR THE KIND YOU POUND IN WITH A HAMMER?’

Concequences of too much TV

21 Jan

I love TV…couldn’t live without it. But things get alittle outta hand with some people. How?
(a) It can make you go crazy: I mean…I got friends thinking they are vamps #sign. Ok the point is, if you’re being honest with yourself…you’ve probably asked yourself atleast once if supernatural creatures existed and what’s to blame? That damned TV!! All that Twilight and Paranomal Activity…
(b) It makes you believe in happy endings. According to TV 99.9% there is a happy ending but what are the odds in real life, huh?
