Must have been embarassing, lol

21 Jan

A lady picked up several items at a discount store. When she finally got up to the checker, she learned that one of her items had no price tag. Imagine her embarrassment when the checker got on the intercom and boomed out for the entire store to hear, ‘PRICE CHECK ON LANE THIRTEEN, TAMPAX, SUPER SIZE.” That was bad enough, but somebody at the rear of the store apparently misunderstood the word ‘Tampax’ for ‘THUMBTACKS.’ In a business-like tone, a voice boomed back over the intercom: ‘DO YOU WANT THE KIND YOU PUSH IN WITH YOUR THUMB OR THE KIND YOU POUND IN WITH A HAMMER?’

Concequences of too much TV

21 Jan

I love TV…couldn’t live without it. But things get alittle outta hand with some people. How?
(a) It can make you go crazy: I mean…I got friends thinking they are vamps #sign. Ok the point is, if you’re being honest with yourself…you’ve probably asked yourself atleast once if supernatural creatures existed and what’s to blame? That damned TV!! All that Twilight and Paranomal Activity…
(b) It makes you believe in happy endings. According to TV 99.9% there is a happy ending but what are the odds in real life, huh?

Dealing with a heartbreak

21 Jan

One of the things I’ve learned is that time heals everything. Today you might be hurting but in a few months you won’t. Unfortunately, at times where you desperately need time to pass…it doesn’t so instead of waiting let’s look at the other options. Below I have listed 5 easy steps to get over a break over.
1.) Accept that you liked him/her and let’s face it. You’re heartbroken because you still care. If you try to ignore this fact it will just make things harder.
2.) Realise that it’s over.
3.) Make sure the breakup is as drama-free as possible and that you two are if possible still at speaking terms.
4.) Distract yourself. The best way is to hang out with friends and when you’re with them DON’T talk about the breakup.
5.) Move on. One of the best treatments for a breakup is getting a new crush.

A letter

20 Jan

Dear misunderstood-when-it-comes-to-teenagers adult,
you have it all wrong. There’s alot more to us than “not yet adults” whose systems are pumping with hormones.
Not all guys and girls our age are slutty and you will be shocked when I go as far as to confirm that only a minority of as are. We don’t only think about the opposite gender and not all of as feel the constant pressure to take part in sexual intercouse. Infact we can act responsible and think of more useful stuff…like…uh, I can’t think of anything now. Anyway the point is that adults should learn to trust us more. I mean you were also teens once… you should know how it feels to be “misunderstood”
You teach us not to judge a book by it’s cover but when we hit 13 it’s like we’ve mutated into a whole diffrent species to you.
xoxo,
